Earthquake

Hello sweet warriors...I wanted to let you all know that we felt the earthquake today, but nothing significant where we are at. We are very far from the epicenter. It was worse when we felt the one in Illinois. Please pray for the College family. They are in our travel group here and were to unite with their son at 2:00 in the city where the quake occurred at 2:30. I must admit I do not like being so far from home when things like this happen. Pray for peace for us all. Libi Faith just went to sleep and I need to head that way myself. Thank you for being there for us!!!!

I heard the news of the earthquake in Cheng Du...I asked Mark where that was in relation to Qinzhou!!

Know that as you lie down, we here in US will be praying for comfort! Restful slumber! Restorative sleep!

I leave you with these three verses:

"Trust in the LORD forever, For in God (JAH) the LORD ,we have an everlasting Rock...
Yes,Lord, walking in Your ways we wait for You; Your name & renown are the desires of our hearts. My sould yearns for you in the night in the morning my spirit longs for You..."

Love you Oodles!!!

Kevin began praying early this morning regarding the earthquake. By the time I got up, he had pulled up news stories about it to make sure it wasn't close to where you are. After knowing you were ok, my next thought was for the other families from your group. We will be praying for the College family. Keep us posted when you get an update on them. You sound tired tonight. I will be praying for sweet sleep for you!

I got an early morning phone call from my mom asking about you. I had not even heard of the earthquake yet. We are so thankful you are fine, and will continue to pray for your friends and ALL the people involved.

I am sure you will be sleeping better each night now that you have had time with your baby. I am so happy things are going so well for you guys.

I love the picture of her sleeping on her Daddy. Couldn't be any more precious.

Much love, LIsa

Oh Amy, I've missed sooo much!!!! We left on Wednesday for Florida and our cruise to the Bahamas and just returned very late last night. When I got on the blog this morning to check on you all and saw the pictures of you holding Libi I just lost it. Words can't describe it! What a precious and emotional sight to behold! God is so unbelievably good!
I'm so thankful you all are safe and sound!
I'm looking forward to seeing more and more pictures of your precious girl and I'll continue to lift you all up in prayer, Lisa

Thanks for the update on your friends. We'll keep them in our prayers. We were just in Chengdu, Sichuan picking up Kai so feel more than desperate for the Lord's help there.

So glad your little sweet pea is already starting to shine in new areas. She is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. She fits in great with the Arnold family!

Love and prayers,

Have been praying throughout the day and the kids and I gathered around the table and prayed for the College family and for Zoe Sanders this morning. So thankful you are all ok.

Our God is a fortress where the righteous can run in and be safe. So glad you are in His arms of protection.

We're SO glad that you're all o.k.! Congratulations on having your precious Libi Faith with you at last! Our daughter Kristen graduated from college on Saturday (in Missouri), so I was not able to follow your blog over the weekend. But unbelievably, as I was laying in bed exhausted at 11:45 p.m. Saturday night (which would have been about 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon for you,) God brought you all to my mind and I prayed fervently for all of you. I have enjoyed ALL the pics so much!!! They bring back such memories of our trip to get Daniel. We are just overwhelmed with joy and thankfulness that you have your sweet little girl with you. Daniel can't wait to see Libi again! We are praying for you dear friends!
